Why IECC exists
In today's fast-moving remote and global economy, degree titles and brand-locked badges often fail to communicate whether someone can actually solve problems on day one. Employers are inundated with resumes and unverified claims, while skilled remote professionals struggle to prove their competence without paying thousands of dollars for gated courses.
IECC was founded on three non-negotiable principles:
We test transferable fundamentals and real execution principles, never proprietary vendor software or commercial exam paywalls. A skill should belong to the professional, not a single software ecosystem.
Testing your competence should never cost money. All 74 examinations are 100% free to take with immediate objective score reports. Candidates only invest in credential packages if they pass and wish to share formal public registry records.
Every official credential is backed by a unique registry ID, a tamper-evident SHA-256 PDF fingerprint, and an instant lookup employers can use without paywalls or login friction.
How every assessment works
Pick any of 74 exams. No payment, no credit card. 60 questions, 60 minutes, instant objective scoring.
Score 70% or higher and purchase the official credential package. Two attempts per 12-month window keep it fair.
Claim your credential from $39. It lands on the public registry with a SHA-256 fingerprint employers can check in under 200ms.
What we will never do
IECC exists to lower the cost of proving skill — not to become another gatekeeper. That means a few hard lines we will not cross:
- No licensed or regulated examinations. We do not offer bar exams, medical boards, CPA licensure, or any government-mandated credential. Our scope is professional skill validation only.
- No courses sold. We assess; we do not teach. Bundling instruction with testing creates conflicts of interest we want no part of.
- No pay-to-pass. Payment purchases the credential package after a pass — it can never buy a score. Grading is fully automated and identical for every candidate.
- No credential inflation. Every certificate carries a 24-month validity with renewal, and revoked credentials stay revoked on the public record.
