Exam Integrity & Honor Code
Exam rules, proctoring standards, and honor code
⚖️ The Candidate Honor Pledge
"As a candidate seeking professional certification from IECC, I pledge that all responses submitted during my examination are solely the result of my individual knowledge and applied capability, authored without unauthorized collaboration, automated assistance, or illicit question leakage."
1. Fundamental Assessment Integrity
The global reputation of IECC credentials depends upon the rigorous, unbiased, and uncompromised evaluation of practical competency. Every candidate is held to high standards of academic and professional honesty. When you initiate an examination session, you agree to abide by all anti-cheating, intellectual property, and proctoring rules detailed herein.
2. Prohibited Conduct & Academic Violations
The following activities constitute severe violations of the IECC Candidate Agreement and will prompt immediate disciplinary action:
Allowing another individual to attempt, complete, or review an examination session under your candidate identity, or completing an assessment on behalf of another party.
Communicating with external individuals, study groups, or paid tutors during active examination sessions via messaging apps, screen sharing, audio calls, or remote desktop software.
Deploying automated browser extensions, web-scraping scripts, OCR screen readers, or automated AI bot solvers to bypass timed intellectual problem solving during live assessments.
Copying, capturing, taking screenshots, transcribing, recording, memorizing for publication, or commercially distributing IECC proprietary question stems, distractors, or rationales.
3. Automated Proctoring & Telemetry Auditing
Our examination engine enforces multiple layers of automated behavioral telemetry:
- Window Focus & Blur Monitoring: The runner detects when the browser tab loses focus (e.g. switching to search engines or external software) and records incidents in the session audit log;
- Response Latency Analysis: Statistical variance in response times is analyzed to flag abnormal automated submission bursts;
- Client-Side Protection: Text copying, right-click context menus, and developer tool shortcuts are disabled to safeguard test content;
- IP & Geolocation Consistency: Session pings are audited to detect concurrent multi-location logins or proxy routing.
4. Disciplinary Sanctions for Malpractice
Following an academic integrity investigation, confirmed violations will result in one or more of the following sanctions:
- Session Termination: Immediate emergency cancellation of the ongoing exam session with zero grading score;
- Retroactive Revocation: Permanent revocation of any certificates or professional titles previously issued to the candidate;
- Registry Blacklisting: The candidate's account and verified profile will be permanently banned from attempting future IECC evaluations;
- Legal Action: In cases of commercial question bank theft or mass distribution, IECC will pursue civil copyright damages and statutory remedies.
5. Question Dispute & Feedback Protocol
If a candidate believes that a specific question item contains an ambiguity, technical typo, or outdated specification, they are encouraged to submit a formal question dispute via their post-exam Result page rather than discussing the question externally. Our academic board reviews every submission and updates question pools accordingly.
6. Confidential Whistleblower Reporting
If you encounter unauthorized distribution of IECC examination questions or suspect cheating rings, please report the details confidentially to our Academic Security Board at security@iecc.digital.
